This is an old family picture.

My family does not support my being in the LGBTQIA community. They actually are opposed to it. They tell me every day that its disgusting and that it’s sinful and I’ll go to hell for liking women.
I moved out when I was seventeen, and in January I moved back in with them because I couldn’t handle everything that was going on. Every day one of my five siblings tells me to go back to Minnesota. My little brother Charlie (the black baby in the picture) is now 8 and he constantly physically attacks me and tells me that I’m not his sister and to leave. My other siblings make it very obvious and clear that they don’t want me here and my parents tell me constantly that they’re gonna kick me out soon.
I’ve been saving every penny for a bus ticket to Oregon to stay with my best friend and today I found this picture in my sisters’ room ON DISPLAY. Not hidden. On display. They cut my face out of the picture.

And that… That was just the last straw.
I don’t care if anyone reblogs this or whatever, I don’t wanna get popular, I just want people to know that this is not what a family looks like. This is not something people should have to go through.

This is no life.

society needs to adjust its values and realize the real definition of a family

I may live in a different country and all and am probably stranger danger material but I think I’m the one of many who would open my home to anyone who is personally being victimised by families like this. Being gay or lesbian. I’d give you a family no matter who you were. 

It is just horrible that a ‘family’ would do this to one of the members. Shouldn’t matter is a person is Gay, Lesbian, Transgender or anything like that!

I have many Gay/Lesbian/Transgender friends and I myself like both males and females. I would welcome you into my life and my home no matter your past. No matter your color and no matter your sexuality.

Some people really need to learn respect for people.

I just- really hate this kind of people.

It’s even worse how they brainwashed their other kids like that. You have no right to do that. That’s wrong.

Fuck, why is this even such a big deal?

Why would you fucking judge a person based solely on the way they have sex or who they love? Is sex THAT important to society that it makes someone think that someone else deserves to be treated like this because of it?

Are you so scared of anything different? Because maybe you were afraid to be different yourself so you hate everyone who’s brave enough to be?

I constantly hear people talking: “Oh, their son is gay, she’s having such a hard time, so much hurting… poor their.”

Why?

WHY?

What difference does it make in YOUR life? Other than maybe your son/daughter adopting instead of having their own kid, or having a daughter in law instead of a son in law? What was it, uhm? Because I honestly can’t tell.

This is why I’m not religious. With the exception of Pyrolatry, since it has no defined rules other than you must love fire, which I do. BUT THE POINT IS THAT MORALS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN RELIGION.
